Mary E. Alberts, 57, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at her residence. Per her wishes, Mary has been cremated and services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service. Mary was born January 29, 1956 in Ord, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Shirley (Guyle) Ingraham. She lived in many places throughout Nebraska. Mary married A.J. Alberts on January 4, 1984 in Lexington, Nebraska and they made their home in Cozad, Nebraska. They moved to Seward, Nebraska and then to Sioux City in 2010. Mary had a variety of employments, while in Cozad she worked at Monroe Auto Equipment, South View Manor as a CNA, Nebraska Plastics, and Alco. She worked at Orscheln in Seward and then Bomgaars in Sioux City. Mary had a love for cooking and trying new recipes, she also enjoyed blue-tipped carnations and doing ceramics. Mary loved being with her family and was not just a loving mother and wife, but she was a best friend. Survivors include her husband A.J. Alberts, daughters Jennifer (Andre) Murphy of Sioux City, April Alberts of Seward, Nebraska, and Davida (Anthony) Wright of Cozad, Nebraska, brothers Mark Ingraham of Seward, Nebraska and John (Geri) Ingraham of Holdrege, Nebraska, step-sister Amy Wilson of Greenwood, Iowa, grandchildren Daniel (Amber) Sattler, Andrew Sattler, and Chase Sattler, great-grandchildren Daniel ""D.J."" Sattler, II and a great granddaughter on the way. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents. A memorial has been established in her memory.
