Robert ""Bob""� Kloepping, age 62 of Cozad, passed away April 24, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Cozad. Bob was born April 27, 1950 at Gothenburg, Nebraska to Wilbur ""Doc""� and Doris (Schroeder) Kloepping. He attended rural school in Willow Island and later graduated from Cozad High School. He then attended World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City Iowa and was part of a family auctioneering company. In 1975, Bob married Deb Edwards at Cozad. Their union was blessed with 2 boys, Marcus and Kirk. Bob held many jobs throughout his life, but farming and ranching always remained closest to his heart. In later years, Bob enjoyed working at the Cozad City Schools, where he enjoyed interacting with the teachers and students. Bob loved football and reading about history, particularly World War II, Vietnam and Korea. He loved to tell stories and make people laugh. Bob had an appreciation for good horses and enjoyed cowboying for his neighbors and family. He was a member of the Cozad Elk""s Lodge #2250. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Burrell and Fred; sister-in-law, Maxine; brother-in-law, Larry Beyersdorf; and a nephew, Scott. Survivors include his 2 sons, Marcus Kloepping and Kirk Kloepping (HaLea) of Cozad; 3 sisters, Jann (Dwight) Devine of Cozad, Gwenn Kloepping, and Linda Beyersdorf, both of Denver, CO; sister-in-law, Sharon Kloepping of Eustis; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside inurnment services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at the Buffalo Grove Cemetery. Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad is charge of arrangements.
