William ""Bill""� Lee, age 62 of Cozad, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center-Clarkson in Omaha. Bill was born October 10, 1950, at St. Joseph, Missouri to William and Lena (McVay) Lee. At a young age, Bill""s family moved to the Stockton, California area, where he graduated from high school. Following his graduation, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served in Vietnam. Following his discharge from the service, Bill moved to Colorado. On July 22, 1971, he married Twila Pacheco at Elko, Nevada. Bill and his family made their home in Colorado, where he worked as a cook at a ski resort. Bill eventually took a job in trucking, and did that for several years before moving to Cozad in 1990 to work at Paulsen Inc as a heavy equipment mechanic. Bill also enjoyed doing seasonal trucking work for local farmers. Bill loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he could. His primary focus in life was always his family. It was important to him that he always make time to bond with his kids doing the things that they enjoyed, like working on their demolition derby cars. As a proud grandparent of 14, it was a high priority for Bill to spend time with his grandkids, offering them guidance whenever he could. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Jesse and Norman; 2 sister, Janet and Jarene ""Kay""; 2 nephews, Albert and Roger; and a niece, Anna. Survivors include his wife, Twila Lee of Cozad; 4 sons, Travis (Candi) Lee, Justin Lee, Jeremy (Jennifer) Lee and David (Crista) Lee all of Cozad; daughter, Dayna (Israel) Barrios of Merced, CA; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial has been established in his memory. Condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad with Pastor J.C. Calhoun officiating. There will be no inurnment. Visitation for memorial book signatures will be held on Tuesday, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.
