Twila Lee, age 60 of Cozad, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at Cozad Community Hospital. Twila was born April 23, 1953 at Tabernash, Colorado to John and Barbara (Gray) Pacheco. She attended Middle Park High School in Granby, Colorado. Following graduation, Twila worked at Winter Park Ski Resort. On July 22, 1971, Twila married William “Bill” Lee at Elko, Nevada. The couple made their home in Colorado, where they raised their family. Together, Bill and Twila owned and operated The Sportsman Café in Grandby, Colorado for several years. In 1990, Twila and Bill moved their family to Cozad. Twila worked at a local Amoco Station and Rodeway Motel. Twila enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family. Twila was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; three sisters-in-law, Linda Pacheco, Sue Hardy and Kim Lee. Survivors include her 4 sons, Travis (Candi) Lee, Justin Lee, Jeremy (Jennifer) Lee and David (Crista) Lee all of Cozad; 4 sisters, Johanna (John) Staton, Sandra (Ron) Cooper, Delilah (Art) Becker, Monita Pacheco (Betty); 4 brothers, John (Ellen) Pacheco, Dean Pacheco, Manuel (Kathy) Pacheco, Steve ( Dori) Pacheco; 9 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Cozad United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Smith officiating. Burial will be at Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.
