Victoria Farrell

Victoria (Hernandez) Farrell passed away August 2, 2014 at Greeley, Colorado at the age of 52. Victoria was born August 11, 1961 at Cozad, Nebraska to Daniel and Virginia Hernandez. She attended Cozad High School graduating in 1979. She attended the NE College of Technical Agriculture and graduated with an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 1984. She used these skills for many years at the Cozad Veterinary Clinic. She was united in marriage to Michael Farrell and to this union Melissa was born in 1993.In 1997 she attended Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte, NE graduating in 1999 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Laboratory Technology. She worked the next 15 years in Haxtun, CO loving her new career. She touched many lives while doing her Medical Laboratory Technician role both at the Haxtun Hospital and nursing home. We will miss her smile that could light up a room and her infectious laughter. She was preceded in death by her parents in 2012.Victoria is lovingly survived by her daughter, Melissa Farrell of Greeley, CO; brothers,Juan (Tammie) of Gering and Daniel of Cozad; sister, Ramona (Steve Nantkes) of North Platte. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. A memorial has been established in her memory. Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Cozad Cemetery with Father Don O'Brien officiating. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.
