Patsy L. Roenfeldt

Patsy L. Roenfeldt, age 69 of Cozad, passed away October 11, 2014 at Cozad Community Hospital. Patsy was born March 21, 1945 in Lexington, Nebraska to Frank and Dessie (Rakestraw) Batie. She attended school in Cozad and graduated with the class of 1963. Patsy went to work for ESU 10 in Cozad performing Diagnostic Testing and as an administrative assistant for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading, making crafts and doing crossword puzzles. Patsy was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and cherished time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Faith E. Batie. Patsy is lovingly survived by her children, Todd Roenfeldt of Chadron, Nicholas (Brandy) Roenfeldt of Imperial, Wendy Loving (Jason Last) of North Platte and Scott (Yvette) Roenfeldt of Centennial, CO; 10 grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Trevor (Ali), Tyler (Jade), Tanner, Shaun, Jessica, Kaila, Kyle and Braeden; 2 great grandchildren, Jaxon and Sophia; 1 sister, Sharon Batie; brother-in-law Bob (Connie) Roenfeldt; former daughter-in-law Angie (Roger) Johnson; special friend Jan Ratzlaff of York, NE; and many other relatives and friends. Cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Ethel Fox officiating. A private family inurnment will be held prior to the service. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
