Betty A. Knoll

Betty A. Knoll of Cozad passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at her home at the age of 68. She was born June 20, 1946 at North Platte, Nebraska to Vernard 'Mike' and Sylvia (Oliver) Knoll. She participated in the North Platte Opportunity Center. Following the passing of her parents in 1971, Betty moved to the Martin Luther Home in Beatrice. In 1976 she moved to Cozad. Betty enjoyed living in Cozad and being an active member in the community. The staff and residents at South Central Developmental Services took excellent care of Betty and loved her like family. Betty's family is grateful for their love and care given to Betty for all of those years. She will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Vernard Knoll and Robert 'Bob' Knoll. Betty is lovingly survived by her sister, Leora (Keith) Messersmith of Farman; sister-in-law, Arlene Knoll of Hershey; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Memorials are suggested to South Central Development Services in Cozad. Online condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com. Services will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Thomas Bond officiating. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Garden, south of North Platte. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
