Tammy J. Allbright

Tammy Jo Allbright , age 54 of Cozad departed this life on July 28, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital at Kearney NE. Tammy was born at Cozad, Nebraska on March 31, 1961 to Glen and Rebecca (Byrum) Darnall. Tammy attended School in Eustis Nebraska where she graduated in 1979. Tammy was a long time employee of the South Central Developmental Center at Cozad where she had made many new friends. Tammy was a generous person that never passed up an opportunity to help out the community by donating her time to work fundraisers. She was a devoted member in the Cozad United Methodist Church. Tammy held the position of Cub Master in the Cub Scouts for several years before and after her children participated in the Cub Scouts. She did the same while her daughters were active in the Girl Scouts. Tammy was enthusiastic about helping those in need and never missed Cozad’s yearly Clothing Project. She also enjoyed spending her spare time doing other numerous activities. Tammy was preceded in death by; parents Glen and Rebecca Darnall, Grandmother Emma, and Step-Grandmother Irene, Grandfather Wilber, Uncle Billy, uncle Clark, and her cousin Craig. Survivors include; husband, Richard Allbright; brothers, Fred, Eddie; sister, Melinda Elitist, sons; Matthew Allbright, Nathan (Kandra) Allbright, Christopher Allbright, and David Allbright, daughters; Callie Allbright, Emily Allbright, and Andrea (Andrew) McClellen, grandchildren; Aiden Allbright, Aryiah Allbright, Abigail and Autumn Twine, Maison Larsen, best friend; Missy Crick, and many other extended family members and friends. Services will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cozad United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Smith and Pastor Bob Neben Officiating. A Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Berryman Funeral Home.
