Dora L. Stack of Lexington passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Elwood Care Center at the age of 95. Dora was born July 21, 1920 at Lyons, Kansas to Arthur and Demmie (Watson) Roth. She was the last of 12 children. Dora's family made their home in Kansas until June of 1927 when they moved to Nebraska. On October 31, 1945, she married George Milton Jackson in Elwood, Nebraska. Dora moved to Lexington in 1960 after George passed away. In August of 1965, she married Don Stack. Dora cleaned houses in the Lexington area and worked at the Vet's Club for over 27 years until she retired. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; 7 brothers; 4 sisters; 2 stepsons; and 3 nieces. Survivors include nieces, Ruby (Jim) White of Junction City, KS and Margaret (Wayne) Zweifel of Waldo, KS; stepson Darrell (Joyce) Stack of North Platte; step daughter-in-law Donna Stack of Cheyenne, WY; and a host of grand nieces and nephews. Memorials are suggested to the Lexington Rescue Unit, United Methodist Church in Lexington, Grand Generation Center in Lexington or donor's choice.
