David L Moler

David L. Moler of Cozad departed this life on December 29, 2015 at his home at the age of 68. David was born September 14, 1947 to Harold and Patricia (Coble) Moler at Hastings Nebraska. David was raised in Hastings where he attended school. David was the proud father of three loving children Patty, Lisa, and Charles. On October 16, 1987 David was united in marriage to Barbara Kraft. David loved trivia, American history and playing on the computer. He was known for his ability to guess the prices of items on the Antique Road Show. He also enjoyed watching Husker Football. David rarely missed afternoon coffee with his friends even if it meant riding his scooter on the cold winter days. David was preceded in death by his parents and son in law Michael Morris. Survivors include his wife Barbara, his daughters; Patty Morris of Alabama, Lisa (Dustin) Peden of Morrill, NE, his son; Charles (Tammy) Moler of Lincoln, his brothers; James (JoLane) of Lincoln, Jerry (Deb) Moler of Arkansas, his sisters; Brenda (Warren) Jones of Beatrice, Beverly (Lyn) Wagner of Lexington, and his grandchildren; Haley Morris and Emily Peden. A graveside service will be held at Fort McPherson on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 5-7 pm. A memorial has been established in his memory.
