Jeanne M Buesing

Jeanne M. Buesing passed away January 14, 2016 at her home in Cozad at the age of 54. She was born April 12, 1961 at Cozad, Nebraska to Earl and Edith (Elston) Allen. She attended school in Cozad. On December 14, 1976, Jeanne married Michael Buesing at Phillipsburg, Kansas. They were blessed with 2 children, Michael, Jr. and Luke. Jeanne and Michael resided in Gothenburg, Nebraska for 37 years before moving to Cozad in December of 2015. Jeanne worked at a nursing home and cafe. She was skilled at cross-stitch and enjoyed playing cards and board games. Jeanne loved to cook, especially for her family. Her most treasured times were spent taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Earl Allen, Jr.; brother-in-law, David Schwarz; nephew, Nathan Schwarz and nieces, Natalie and Nicole Schwarz. Survivors include her husband, Michael Buesing of Cozad; 2 sons, Michael (Ashlea) Buesing Jr. and Luke Buesing, both of Gothenburg; grandchildren, Lathan and Isaiah Buesing; siblings, Jim (Sally) Allen of Olathe, KS, Cathy Strickland of Kearney, Vicky (Jeff) Weber of Alliance, Sherry Wyant of Lincoln; nieces, Heidi Allen and son, Matthew; Samantha Earll and son, Ryker; nephews, Isaac Allen, Justin Strickland, Jason Weber and Martin Wyant; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rodney Mohler officiating. Cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation. Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad is in charge of arrangements.
