Helen F. Davidson, age 97 of Cozad, passed away February 3, 2016 at Golden Living Care Center in Cozad. Helen was born August 18, 1918 at Arcadia, Nebraska to Farren and Jessie (Barr) Lybarger. She attended school in Arcadia. In 1937, she married James ‘Howard’ Williams at Broken Bow, Nebraska. The couple made their home at Sargent, Nebraska. The couple lived in several Nebraska locations until moving to Gothenburg. Howard preceded her in death before Helen moved to Cozad in 1967. She worked at Monroe Auto for 15 years before retiring in 1982. In February of 1982, she married Lloyd Davidson at Lexington. The couple made their home in Cozad. Lloyd passed away in 1996. Helen enjoyed crocheting and having coffee with friends at the Donut Shop. Her most treasured times were spent with family, especially grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Howard and Lloyd; son, James Williams; 3 sisters and 6 brothers. Survivors include 2 sons, Fritz (Patricia) Williams of Montague, MA and Robert (Antoinette) Williams of Loomis; daughter-in-law, Judy Williams of Gothenburg; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 3 to 5. Services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sargent, Nebraska.
