Jesse L. Newbrey

Jesse L. Newbrey of Eustis passed away June 22, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney at the age of 50. Jesse was born January 9, 1966 at Cozad, Nebraska to Dickie and Arleen (DeLosh) Newbrey. Jesse attended school a Cozad. He worked for a trucking company for many years and loved seeing the country. He also worked as a farm hand near Eustis. Jesse enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He was a talented guitar player and loved to entertain his family with his musical ability. Jesse's most treasured times were spent with his family. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Alan Newbrey; nephew, John Newbrey; uncle, John DeLosh; grandparents, Anna and Orman DeLosh and Grover and Lucile Newbrey. Jesse is survived by his 2 sons, Adam Newbrey (Linsey) of Gothenburg and Casey Newbrey (Tiffany Donner) of Gothenburg; 7 grandchildren; Andrew, Madison, Caleb, Cyrus, Harper, Renlee and Ellie Anna; brothers, Brian Newbrey of Eustis and Jerry (Clara) Newbrey of Brady; nephews, Danny Newbrey of Gothenburg and Shawn Newbrey of Arkansas; nieces, Shiloah Franzen of North Platte and Sarah Bray of Arkansas; his dog, Trapper; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Peckham Cemetery, SW of Gothenburg with Rev. Janie Freeman officiating.
