Arlene C. Weible of Cozad, passed away October 21, 2016 at Golden Living at the age of 85. Arlene was born May 10, 1931 at Fullerton, Nebraska to Albert C. and Thelma D. (Robinson) Johnson. She attended school at Fullerton. Arlene was united in marriage to Jack M. Weible Sr. on September 1, 1953 at Lexington, Nebraska. Arlene and Jack were blessed with 5 children, Jack Jr., Thelma, Allan, Charlotte and Joe. The family made their home in Cozad. Arlene was a stay at home mother, and babysat many other children at her home. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and helping Jack and spending time with her children. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Arlene will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Charlotte Weible; 2 sons, Jack Jr. and Joe Weible; 2 brothers, Richard and Albert Johnson; 2 sisters, Dorothy Earl and Helen Price; and great granddaughter, Taylor Weible. Survivors include her husband, Jack Weible of Cozad; daughter, Thelma Weible of Cozad; son, Allan (Teresa) Weible of Cozad; daughter-in-law, Twila Weible of Cozad; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; and 1 step great great grandson. Online condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com. A memorial has been established in her name. Services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Private burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 8 at Berryman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
