Judy Ann Rhoadarmer of Eustis passed away June 12, 2017 at her home at the age of 69. Judy was born June 27, 1947 at Gothenburg, Nebraska to very wonderful parents, Arthur Lavern and Virginia Mae (Kostman) Buss. Several years later, a son, Jonathan Arthur Buss, was born to this happy family. They resided in Cozad, Nebraska and then moved to North Platte, Nebraska where Judy attended Sioux Lookout School. Later the family returned to Cozad where Judy graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1965. Judy was united in marriage to Floyd Rhoadarmer on October 29, 1966. Joining this family in 1970 was a son, Greg, and in 1973, a daughter, Heather. The couple later divorced. Judy worked at several jobs in the Cozad area. Her illustrious work career began with detasseling corn, JcPenney, Health and Human Services, Tri-City Tribune, Cozad State Bank, teachers aide for the elementary school. She eventually joined the USPS and became Postmaster of Cozad Post Office in 1991. Judy loved her family. Whether they were with her or not, they were always on her mind and in her heart. Judy was a friend, she had the ability to accept people as they were. It didn't matter how much money you had, the color of your skin or whether you were young or old. Judy met her soul mate, Gene Toberer in 1991. They were together until Gene's death in 2010. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Buss and soul mate, Gene Toberer. Survivors include, her daughter, Heather Rhoadarmer of Lincoln; son, Greg Rhoadarmer or Colorado; mother, Virginia Buss of Cozad; brother, Jon Buss of Cozad; and beloved dog, Boogie. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Kathy Gundell, PMA officiating. Inurnment will follow at East Cemetery, Eustis. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Wednesday from 1 to 5 at Berryman Funeral Home.
