Lois C. Berry of Cozad passed away December 12, 2017 at Cozad Care and Rehabilitation at the age of 95.Lois C. Berry of Cozad passed away December 12, 2017 at Cozad Care and Rehabilitation at the age of 95. Lois was born March 5, 1922 at Bertrand, Nebraska to Ray and Loova (Berntson) Collister. She graduated from Curtis High School with the class of 1940. On May 14, 1944, Lois married John Berry at Curtis, Nebraska. John was in the service at the time. The couple resided in Arkansas and Texas during this time. Following his discharge, they moved back to Nebraska and eventually settled in Cozad in 1968. Lois was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed sewing, making crafts and was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, John Berry; her daughter, Kelly Jo Berry. Survivors include her daughter, Lexie Grandy and husband Chet of San Diego, CA. A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery with Pastor Jill Boyd officiating. Berryman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
