Jonathan A. Buss

Jonathan A. Buss of Cozad passed away February 16, 2018 in Crete, Nebraska at the age of 64. Jon was born December 8, 1953 in North Platte, Nebraska to wonderful parents, Arthur and Virginia (Kostman) Buss, joining older sister Judy. They resided in North Platte and later moved to Cozad in 1959. Jon graduated from Cozad High School in 1972. He spent most of his life driving truck and working along side his father at various alfalfa mills in the area. Jon loved his nephew and niece, Greg and Heather Rhoadarmer. Jon was a fan of hot rod cars and drag races. He could be seen spending much of the day driving through the Cozad area or walking for exercise. Jon loved animals of all shapes and sizes, especially his faithful buddy, Jasmine. Jon knew no stranger. He always had a smile on his face and boisterous laugh for all. Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Virginia Buss and sister, Judy Rhoadarmer. He is survived by his nephew and niece, Greg and Heather Rhoadarmer. Memorials are suggested to an animal shelter of donors choice. Cremation was chosen. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cozad Cemetery. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 9 to 5 at Berryman Funeral Home.
