On October 09, 2021, Adah E. Ambler passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 95 years old. A lifelong Nebraskan native, Adah was well-loved and was a pillar of strength for her family. Adah was the mother of four children, grandmother to eight children, great grandmother to sixteen children and great great grandmother to three children. All were proud to call her mom and grandma.
Adah was born on March 19, 1926 in Gandy, NE to Troy & Jessie (Reynolds) Philpot. She was united in marriage with Russell J. Ambler on July 12, 1947, in Phillipsburg, KS.
Adah retired from Monroe Automotive in 1994 after over 30 years of service and not missing a single day. Anyone who knew Adah knew what an incredible work ethic she had. Adah was an active member of the local VFW for many years, a home maker who enjoyed woodworking and crafts, making beautiful quilts, tending to her garden, and pouring all her love into her family, especially her grandchildren. Her grandchildren often said it wasn’t broken until Grandma couldn’t fix it.

Ambler, son, William (Bill) Ambler, sisters Mary Hagan, Esther Jensen, Betty Lehmkuhler, Delilah Philpot, Ida Shafer, brothers Lyle Philpot, Jim Philpot and Ralph Philpot and great grandson Austin Kotschwar.
