Annette Kay Hopkins

Annette Kay Hopkins of Cozad passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Meadowlark Pointe Assisted Living at the age of 61. Annette was born January 5, 1962 at Fort Lupton, Colorado to Lynwood and Shirley (Eckheart) Miller. She graduated from Fort Lupton High School. On August 20, 1987, Annette married Donald Hopkins. The couple moved to Cozad in 1997 and she worked at Monroe Auto for 13 years. Annette enjoyed camping and was a person that loved animals and nature. She was skilled at cooking and baking, always taking food to share with co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Lynwood Miller Jr. Survivors include her husband, Don Hopkins of Cozad; sister, Arlene (David) Corder of CO; brother, Walter Miller of CO; stepson, Scott Hopkins of OK; and numerous extended family and friends. Cremation was chosen. There will be no services.
