“On this day October 14, 2021, Charles Randall “Randy” Adle is reunited with his parents once again. Charles took the good Lord’s hand into Heaven on October 6, 2021, surrounded by his wife, Linda Adle of 51 years of marriage, and family. Born on April 8, 1949, in Lexington, Nebraska, Charles was a proud Air Force Veteran serving in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska in the Vietnam War, and stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia. As an avid street rodder & member of the National Street Rod Association, he could be seen restoring vintage automobiles, rain, or shine. Charles was an antiquarian when it came to gas pumps or signage, pedal cars, tire repair kits, or oil cans; and always welcomed neighboring kids & adults to stop by and see his lifetime collection of antiques. He enjoyed fishing & hunting with friends, traveling with his wife to car shows all around, and spending time with his daughter and grandkids.
Charles is survived by his wife, Linda Adle; daughter, Shannon Adle; grandkids Anjileeze & Luis Garcia, of Georgia; Sisters Janet Wagner & Joan Lindekugel of Nebraska; Stepsisters, Connie “Enie” Crawford & Sharon Miller. Charles leaves behind several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Adle; Father, Norton Adle; infant sister, Stepmother, Evelyn Adle; and close nephew, Shane Stauffer.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Services are being held on October 14, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow at Cozad Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
