Cindy E. Schurr

Cynthia E. Schurr passed away June 29, 2018 at her home in Eustis, Nebraska at the age of 62. Cynthia was born September 28, 1955 in Marshall, Minnesota to Thomas B. and Marie L. (Curwick) Sullivan. She graduated from Norfolk Catholic High School with the Class of 1974 and attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Cynthia married Stanley T. Schurr on May 26, 1979 at the American Lutheran Church in Cozad, Nebraska.     Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Sullivan and her father and mother in-law, Martin and Erna Schurr.   Survivors include her husband, Stanley of Eustis; children, Melissa Thompson and husband Joey of Omaha, Rebecca Maboussou and husband Alain of Elkhorn and Patrice Schurr of Omaha; grandchildren, Emma, Kailey and Gracie Thompson and Catherine, Madeleine, Sophia and Elizabeth Maboussou; mother, Marie Sullivan of Marshall, MN; sisters, Kerry Braithwait and husband Ken of Wathena, KS, Erin Zlomke and husband Scott of Grand Island and Abby Appel and husband Randy of Marshall, MN; brothers, Kevin Sullivan and wife Crystal of Grayslake, IL, Kirby Sullivan and wife Mary Claire of Omaha, Jim Sullivan and wife Terri of Aberdeen, SD, Murray Sullivan of Marshall, MN and Tom Sullivan and wife Wendy of Eau Claire, WI; and many other relatives and friends.   Memorials suggested to the Eustis Senior Center or Eustis Fire and Rescue. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cozad with Father Don O'Brien as celebrant. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Cremation was chosen. Inurnment will be Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Omaha National Cemetery, Omaha, NE. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
