Glenda Evelyn Thomas

Glenda E. Thomas of Cozad passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Emerald Care and Rehab at the age of 68. Glenda was born May 16, 1953 in Lexington, Nebraska to Keith and Violet (Martin) Eggleston. She graduated from Oconto High School. Following graduation, Glenda married Dean Thomas in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Their union was blessed with two children, Bradley and Kimberly. Glenda worked as a CNA and dietary aid in various care homes in the Oconto area. She had a fondness for animals, especially her dogs and horses. Glenda's most treasured times were spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and remembered with love. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children, Brad (Shawna) Thomas of Sumner and Kim (Micky) Linder of Cozad; grandchildren, Kisha Thomas of Cozad, Riggin Flies of Sumner and  Riata Thomas of Sumner; brother, Dennis (Connie) Eggleston of Oconto; nephews, Jayson (Dani) Eggleston of Oconto and Clint (Tess Linner)  Eggleston of Oconto; and many other relatives and extended family.

Memorials are suggested to the family in her name for later designation. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oconto Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
