Glenn Allen Oberhauser

Glenn A. Oberhauser, age 88 of Hastings, Nebraska, formerly of Eustis, passed away June 22, 2019 at Providence Place in Hastings, Nebraska. Glenn was born September 18, 1930 on a farm south of Eustis, Nebraska to Milton and Frieda (Kugler) Oberhauser. He spent most of his life living on a farm by Eustis and graduated from Eustis High School. On July 24, 1954 Glenn married Marilyn Cochrane. The couple made their home on the Oberhauser family farm near Eustis, Nebraska. Marilyn and Glenn celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2014 and also 60 years of living on the farm. In August of 2014, Marilyn and Glenn moved to Hastings, Nebraska. During his lifetime, Glenn farmed, worked at Monroe Auto in Cozad, Eustis Plumbing and at the Eustis Lumber Yard. Glen volunteered at the Eustis Senior Center for many years. He was an active volunteer and board member at Golden Friendship Circle in Hastings. Glenn was a member of the United Methodist Church in Eustis. Glenn is survived daughter Fay (Delmar) Kliewer of Aurora, NE; son Dennis (Katie) Oberhauser of Hastings, NE; sister Joan Young of Hopatcong, New Jersey; brother -in-law Dale (Beverly) Cochrane of Eustis; and brother-in-law Richard Cawley of Lebanon, OR; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorials are suggested to Golden Friendship Circle or Providence Place in Hastings. Online condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com.  Graveside memorial services will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at East Cemetery in Eustis, NE with Pastor Neil Kloppenborg officiating. Cremation was chosen. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.
