Jean Marie Cissell

The early afternoon of June 3, 2024 our Mom, Jean Budd Cissell, took the narrow path home. We know that while those who knew her grieve their loss, she is rejoicing to finally be in the presence of our Lord. Mom's life was a full one, and her heart was always open to those in need. Her laugh was filled with joy, her hugs were pure love, and her talks were spot on, enveloped in grace. Her never budging faith allowed our family to see how a Christian's life should be. Through the loss of a child, her family, her husband, and a very long illness, she fixed her eyes on the positives in everything. The world lost a great lady, but our Lord is smiling as Mom is now in his arms. We will miss you Mom. Jim, Tina, Jerry and Joe.

Memorials are suggested to Cozad Fire and Rescue.  A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Ravi Gudipalli as celebrant. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Berryman Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
