John William Boyles

John W. Boyles of Cozad passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Emerald Care Nursing at the age of 69. John was born November 8, 1952 in Broken Bow, Nebraska to Harry and Gretchen (Taylor) Boyles. He graduated from Loup City High School with the class of 1971. John worked for Paulsen, Inc. for over 36 years. He enjoyed golfing and traveling for work. Family was important to John. He treasured every moment he had with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca of Cozad; daughters, Christina (Ben) Hernandez of Omaha, Bryanna Boyles of Cozad; son, Jade Boyles of Norfolk; 2 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter; 2 sisters, Carol (Pat) Kuehl of Loup City and Tammy (Brent Raisch) Boyles of Aurora, MN; 3 brothers, Jim (Tami) Boyles of Mason City, David Boyles of Broken Bow, and Joe (Karen) Boyles of Lewistown, MT; 3 nieces; 8 nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family.

Memorials are suggested to the family in his name for later designation. Services will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Haynes officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
