John F. Schuchardt

John F. Schuchardt, 75, of Bayville, New Jersey died July 12, 2024 after battling dementia for several years.

John was born January 26, 1949 in McCook, Nebraska to LeRoy and Rosemary Schuchardt. He attended Cozad Public Schools graduating in 1967.

Following graduation, John attended St. Thomas Seminary in Denver, Colorado and Kearney State College in Kearney, Nebraska. On June 25, 1994, John married Marion Weitner in Bloomfield, New Jersey. They remained in New Jersey until his death.

After attending college, John worked for his father, LeRoy Schuchardt in the carpet/flooring business in Cozad, Nebraska. He then worked for Palma, Inc. as a floor mechanic until he retired. John also served as a volunteer fireman and EMT in Cozad, Nebraska for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Rosemary Schuchardt, nephew Andrew Wallace and many other loved ones.

John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marion; daughter, Michelle (Chris) Pasquinelly of North Platte, Nebraska; Siblings Jim (Roxanne) Schuchardt of Omaha, Nebraska, Joe Schuchardt, and Janelle (Wes) Mathews of Gering, Nebraska. Stepchildren, Stanley (Maria) Zbikowski of Rockway, New Jersey; Tracy (Curt) Dybus of Bayville, New Jersey; Christopher (Jenna) Zbikowski of Levettown, Pennsylvania and numerous grandchildren.
