Lanna Lee Devine Urban of Cozad passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney at the age of 54. Lanna was born a twin on October 1, 1964 to Dwight and Jann (Kloepping) Devine. She graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1983 and attended Kearney State College. On June 23, 2001, Lanna married Rob Urban. The couple resided in Cozad. She worked in the flooring business for nearly 30 years for Boerkirchers and Five Star Flooring. Lanna loved her job and was very knowledgeable about the product she was selling when working with customers. She was a member of the Cozad Jaycees for a few years and enjoyed co-chairing the annual March of Dimes Cake Auction. Lanna treasured time spent with her family and friends. She loved listening to her uncles and cousins sharing stories. Spending time with her nieces, Presley, Isabelle, Grace and Lucy and nephews, Riley and Luke, was very important to her. She loved them all dearly. Lanna enjoyed taking trips to Jamaica, golfing, kayaking down the river and cruising in the land cruiser or on the motorcycle. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Doc and Doris Kloepping and paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Marie Devine. Lanna is lovingly survived by her husband, Rob Urban; her parents, Dwight and Jann Devine; brother, Bobby Devine and sister, Janna Prahl, all of Cozad; in-laws, Bob and Gena Urban of Fremont; brother and sister-in-laws, Brian and Rachel Urban of Valley, NE and Roger and Greg Urban of FL; her nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ on Newell with Harvey Pierce officiating. Cremation was chosen. Private family burial at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE will be held at a later date. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
