Larry M. Woodward

Larry M. Woodward of Cozad passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Emerald Care Center at the age of 77. Larry was born January 5, 1944 in Callaway, Nebraska to Merril and Esther (Rarden) Woodward. On July 25, 1975, he married Joanne Malcom at Lincoln, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Cozad where they lived their entire married life. Larry worked in food service at Valley Vending, Evans Bakery and for several years at the Cozad Grand Generation Center until his retirement. He enjoyed playing pool, bingo and going on Pioneer Picnic Trail Rides. Larry collected dolls, Beanie Babies and match box cars. He was skilled at all kinds of crafts, especially woodworking and embroidery. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sister, Detta Wright and nephews, Joe and Jon Woodward. Survivors include his brothers, Cecil Woodward of Callaway and Gail (Jo) Woodward of Loveland, CO; sisters, Peggy (Dick) Holeman of Arcadia, NE and Carolyn (Rich) Elliott of Lone Oak, TX; several nieces and nephews; along many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Woldheim Cemetery near Callaway with Ken Pitkin officiating. Visitation with family present will be Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
