LaVonne Weber of Cozad passed away April 20, 2018 at Cozad Care Center at the age of 83. LaVonne was born August 9, 1934 in San Angelo, Texas to George and Lora (Cunningham) Clark. She graduated from Midland High School with the class of 1953. LaVonne attended Odessa Jr. College, pursuing a degree in music. She played the organ professionally all over the mid western part of the United States. LaVonne moved to North Platte where she met and later married Harold Weber. They made their home in Cozad where they raised their family. She taught piano and guitar lessons from her home for several years. LaVonne loved music and painting porcelain dolls. Her most treasured times were spent with family and enjoying her vacation home in Ruidoso, New Mexico. She was a member and organist at the Cozad Bible Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harold in 1982; brother, Larry Clark; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Ed and Margaret Krejci and Chester and Marjorie Weber; and great granddaughter, Lindsay Rose Bennett. Survivors include her son Dell Weber and wife Nancy of Gering; daughter Carmen Morse and husband Bernard of Cozad; grandchildren, Kristen Bennett and husband Eli of Cozad, Joshua Morse of Cozad, Blake Weber of Ohio, Amy Hasnat and husband Mir of Kearney, Corey Hoaglund of Gering, Casey Hoaglund and wife Becky of North Platte; 7 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Pat Clark of Midland, TX; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Services will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cozad Bible Church with Pastor JC Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow at Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1pm to 8pm with family receiving friends from 6pm to 8pm at Berryman Funeral Home.
