Lawrence Wilton Hall

Lawrence W. Hall of Cozad passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Emerald Care Nursing Home at the age of 97. Lawrence was born April 1, 1924 in Cozad, Nebraska to John and Della (Pitts) Hall. He attended Cozad City Schools and lived his entire life in Cozad. On July 21, 1945, Lawrence married Beulah Maret. Their union was blessed with two children, Connie and Gary. Lawrence was a hard worker and was employed at Allied Mills and Continental Grain for over 40 years, until they shut down. He went on to work for McKeone Honey Farm for 9 years, and owned his own bee hives and sold honey. He then worked at Lexington and Cozad alfalfa mills until his retirement. Lawrence loved to garden, fish and hunt. He loved being outside and was never in one spot for too long. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Gary; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors include his daughter, Connie (John) Willets of Cozad; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Harvey Pierce officiating.
