Mary Ann Buesing

Mary Ann Buesing  passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Emerald Care at the age of 75. Mary was born February 16, 1948 in Cozad, Nebraska to Jessie and Doris (Loshonkohl) Werner. They lived in the country around Cozad and moved to town when she was in 4^th grade. Mary graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1966.

She married Norbert Buesing in May of 1966. Their union was blessed with 2 sons, Paul and Charlie. She and Norbert divorced in 1973.

Mary worked at Cozad State Bank during her junior and senior years and following her graduation. She went to work at F & S Sausage until they closed. In April 1992, she went to work for VVS, Inc. until her retirement in 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry; and 3 brother-in-laws. Survivors include her sons, Paul (Johna) and Charles (Crystal) both of Cozad; grandchildren, Zachary of Cozad, Allie of North Platte, Chynna of Kearney and Cameron of Lincoln; sisters, Ramona (Richard) Martin of Redmond, OR, Joyce Sabin of Gothenburg, Norma Richards of Cozad, and Marsha Weeks of Gothenburg; and one brother, Larry (Janice) Werner of Cozad.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Online condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com. Services will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ on Newell with Pastor David Haynes officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation with family present will be Thursday February, 23, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
