Michael 'Lynn' Becker of Beaver City passed away July 3, 2018 at his home at the age of 58. Lynn was born February 2, 1960 in Kearney, Nebraska to Jerome and Ruth (Lynch) Becker. He graduated from Beaver City High School with the class of 1978. On November 7, 1981, Lynn married the love of his life, Laura Nelson, in Norton, Kansas. He was a member of the Nebraska Cattlemen Association, Furnas County Livestock Association, Furnas County Ag Society and the Rural Fire Board. He had a special place in heart for all of his John Deere Equipment and memorabilia. Some of his most treasured times were spent traveling with his wife Laura. Lynn was preceded in death by his wife Laura; his parents; and father-in-law, Willis Nelson. Survivors include his children, Stefanie Hoefs and husband Elliot of Arapahoe and Adam Becker and wife Kayla of Cairo; grandchildren, Landen, Adellyn and Ethan Hoefs and Allie and Oliver Becker; sister, Rhonda Becker of North Platte; brothers, Danny Becker and wife Karen of Beaver City and David Becker and wife Julia of Beaver City; mother-in-law, Lynn Nelson of Norton, KS; brothers and sisters-in-law, Patsy and Bob Moody of Lawrence, KS, Tom and Melissa Nelson of Paola, KS, Steve and Tamara Nelson of Norton, KS and Dennis and Jan Nelson of Rochester, MN; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Norton, Cemetery, Norton, KS with Words of Comfort from Bill Weaver. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
