Patricia 'Patty' J. Brockmeier

Patricia J. 'Patty' Brockmeier passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at her home in Eustis at the age of 68. Patty was born June 2, 1950 in Lexington, Nebraska to Richard and Sherilynn (Foged) Malcom. She graduated from Minden High School and attended cosmetology school at St. Joseph's in Kearney. Patty owned and operated her own salons in Minden, Kearney and Eustis. She lived in Kearney until her children graduated from High School. Patty then moved to Eustis where she met and married Bruce Brockmeier on February 6, 2001. She was a great steward of the Eustis Community and was involved in many things there. Patty loved being outdoors and helping on the farm. She enjoyed riding mountain bikes and driving the Razor around the farm. She was preceded in death by her mother; two brothers, Brad Malcom and Cliff Malcom. Survivors include her husband; children, Leigh (David) Jerzak of Sioux Falls, SD and Shawn (Sovannary Than) Popple of Boulder, CO; stepson, Bret Brockmeier of Omaha; 7 grandchildren, Calvin Steinmark of Sioux Falls, SD, Mary Jo (Allen) Jones of Taylor, NE, Taylor Nelson of Sioux Falls, SD, Blake Nelson of Yankton, SD, Chandler Jerzak of Sioux Falls, SD, Treston Madrid of Thornton, CO and Tyler Madrid of Boulder, CO; 3 great grandchildren, Carter, Bentely and Hadley; her father, Richard Malcom; 2 sisters, Cindy (Mike) Gould of Hot Springs, SD and Cheryl Clark of Mesa, AZ; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Memorials are suggested to the family in her name for later designation. Online condolences may be shared at berrymanfuneralhome.com. Services will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Eustis with Vicar Kathy Gundell officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 pm to 7 pm at St. Lutheran Church. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
