Patricia Tunison

Patricia L. Tunison of Cozad passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Cozad Community Hospital at the age of 74. Patricia was born in Gothenburg, Nebraska on June 29, 1946 to Kenneth and Ruth (Carpenter) Thompson. She graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1965. Patricia began working at Evans Bakery and then at Monroe Auto, until her retirement. In 1973, she married Frank Tunison. Patricia enjoyed playing Bingo, reading and fishing with Frank. Her most treasured times were spent with family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bonnie Thompson; 3 brothers, Teddy Pyzer, Donald Thompson and James Thomspon; sister-in-law, Violet Hayes; and brother-in-laws, LeRoy Tunison and Russell Tunison. Survivors include her husband, Frank of Cozad; sisters, Connie (Timothy) Johnson of Cozad, Linda Schmidt of Cozad and Glenda (David) Nutt of TX; sister-in-laws, Lorene Parsons of Cozad, Danielle Tunison of Cozad and Sandy Thompson of TX; his adopted daughter, Susan Logan and her children Misty and Jazmine Waltermire; special friend, Josh Oldfather; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
