Phyllis Mae Huber, age 84 of Holdrege passed away March 21, 2020 at the Holdrege Memorial Home. Phyllis was born May 11, 1935, Lexington to Virgil and Sophie Peden. Phyllis married Peter Huber on July 16, 1958 making their home in Cozad, Ne. Raising their daughters and taking an active roll in their Grandchildren’s lives. Phyllis enjoyed talking on the telephone, listening to Monogram Money, gardening, bingo and reading the newspaper. She was a long time member of the America Lutheran Church of Cozad. Phyllis was proceeded in death by her husband Peter, parents, brothers: Milton, Gerald, and Donald Peden, sisters: Wanda (James) Carbaugh, and Janice (Neal) Gibbins, and Grandson Chad Brauer. Survivors include 5 daughters: Ramona (Wes) Neben of Lexington, Debbie (Jay) Smith of Lincoln, Kathy (Chuck) Brauer of North Platte, Shelly Enyeart of Palm Springs California, Lana ( Mike ) Nicolen of Holdrege. Sisters: Doris (James) Vogt of Cozad, Sandy (Gary) Schnacker of Lexington. Eight Grand Children, Fourteen Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Granddaughters, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at the American Lutheran Church in Cozad with Vicar Kathy Gundell officiating. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family in her name for later designation. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
