Phyllis A. Patton

Phyllis A. Patton of Ogallala, Nebraska passed away December 9, 2018 at Cozad, Nebraska at the age of 70. Phyllis was born September 18, 1948 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Stillman and Ruby (Rose) Garvin. The family moved to California in 1953 and back to Nebraska in 1967. She was blessed with two children, Lisa and Joseph. In 1978, she came to live with her sister, Patricia Cudaback, and her family in Cozad, Nebraska where she remained until December of 1985. She then moved to Ogallala, Nebraska. Phyllis was a resident of Wel-Life Assisted Living for 8 years. She was loved by everyone there and enjoyed helping others. She remained there until a few days before her passing, when she came to Cozad to be with family. Phyllis enjoyed making arts and crafts and was skilled at crocheting. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Ronald Cudaback; great nephew, Joshua Annen and step-mothers, Audra Garvin and Louise Gavin. Survivors include her sister, Patricia Cudaback of Wynnewood, OK; daughter, Lisa Jones of Russellville, AR; son, Joseph (Sandy) Patton of Rogers, AR; 4 grandchildren, Katlyn Parks of Beaumont, TX, Nathan Parks of Morrilton, AR, Sarah Jones of Russellville, AR, Colton Patton of Rogers, AR; 1 step granddaughter; nieces, Brigitte 'BJ' (Michael) Steinwart of Cozad, Della (Glen) Ross of Pauls Valley, OK, Brenda (Kevin) Mcanally of Ada, OK, Tammy Cudaback Smeltzer of Wynnewood, OK; nephew, Robert 'Bob' (Brenda) Cudaback of Pauls Valley, OK; and several great nieces and nephews. Phyllis chose cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Berryman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
