Phyllis A. Wilson

Phyllis A. Wilson of Cozad passed away July 30, 2018 at Cozad Community Hospital at the age of 73. Phyllis was born August 18, 1944 in Kearney, Nebraska to Wilbur and Delores (Tatum) Bickford. On March 7, 1960, Phyllis married the love of her life, Harvey Duane Wilson. The couple moved to Cozad, Nebraska in 1970 and rural Cozad in 1978. Phyllis worked for Monroe Auto-Tenneco Automotive for 37 years before her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading and family gatherings. Phyllis also loved to play Yahtzee, scratch tickets and watch Husker Football with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Bickford, Helen Kinkaid, Clara Krotz and Carol Krotz; and a brother, Delbert Bickford Sr. Survivors include her husband Harvey Wilson of Cozad, NE; her children; Judy Wilson of Cozad, NE, Mary Stauffer and husband Gaylord of Lincoln, NE and Casey Wilson and wife Deanna of Cozad, NE; brother, Ray Bickford and wife Barb of Kearney, NE; sister, Tovey Shrack of Kearney, NE; grandchildren, Tommy Wilson and wife Esther, Jeffery, Zachary and Kayla Stauffer, Christina Ross, Heather, Cody, Jarod and Timmy Wilson; great grandchildren, Elijah and Faith Ross; along with loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Gahn officiating. Burial will follow at Cozad Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 at Berryman Funeral Home.
