Robert L. Hild

Robert L. Hild of Cozad passed away April 2, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney at the age of 75. Robert was born June 20, 1942 to Robert A. and Bethel (Rawlings) Hild Sr. He grew in Cozad and graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1960. During high school he worked at his father's service station and went on to attend Milford Tech school, majoring in Auto Body. Bob was drafted into the US Army and spent a couple of years serving his country. He came back to Cozad and worked at a couple of body shops before opening his own. He married Donna Dickerson in 2004. Bob was very talented when it came to metal work and painting and enjoyed working with wood and refinishing things. He loved fishing, especially at Merritt, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Karon Hild. Survivors include his wife, Donna Hild of Cozad; son, Scott Kolbo of Gothenburg; sister, Patricia Anderson and husband Kent of Brady; brother-in-law, Lesile Dickerson and wife PuCha of Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and close friends. Services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jill Boyd officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 8 with family receiving friends from 5 to 8 at Berryman Funeral Home.
