Sharon Kay Armagost

Sharon Kay Armagost of Cozad passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at Emerald Care Nursing Home at the age of 69. Sharon was born January 17, 1953 at Cozad, Nebraska to Verlon and LaRae (Hansen) Crick. She grew up in Cozad and graduated with the class of 1971. Sharon married Delmar Armagost in 1978. Their union was blessed with two sons, Brandon and Scott. She worked at Evans Bakery in Cozad as a cake decorator for over 25 years. She was a wonderful cook and was known for her potato salad. She enjoyed fishing for crappie and social hour with her friends and family that would come to visit. Sharon loved her family dearly and spent a lot of time babysitting all of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother in law, Doris Armagost. Survivors include her husband, Delmar of Cozad; sons, Brandon (Kathy) Armagost of Cozad and Scott Armagost (Kaycia Hagan) of Cozad; daughter, Melissa Crick of Cozad; step daughter, Michelle Stoddard and step son, Donald Armagost, both of Texas; grandchildren, Reilly Fichtner, Gunnar Armagost, Reagan Armagost, Kinley Armagost, Rylan Armagost, and Ruger Tetley; sisters, Vickie (Gary) Lee of Cozad and Stacy (Dave) Larsen of Omaha; brothers, David (Cindy) Crick of Cozad and Bill (Brenda) Crick of Cozad; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Gahn officiating. Inurnment will be at Cozad Cemetery. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
