Trevis Glenn Kraus

January 1, 1978 — October 30, 2020

Trevis Glenn Kraus passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 in Cozad, Nebraska at the age of 42. Trevis was born January 1, 1978 in North Platte, Nebraska to Ronald and Judy (Malcom) Kraus. He was the youngest of their four children. Trevis attended Cozad Community Schools, and earned his GED in 1996. Trevis held a variety of jobs throughout his life, but his favorite seemed to involve working on different farms in the community, truck driving as well as beekeeping. Trevis had two dogs, Blue and Duke, that he cared for deeply. He took care of them as if they were his children. Fishing was his favorite pastime. At family gatherings, he loved to tease and play with his nieces and nephews-- most of all schooling them in the latest video games! He also loved to cook for people when he could, finding the hottest sauce in the house to spice it up. Oh- the look on his face, when you had a spare bottle of Tabasco with a few beers to go. Trevis was a big kid at heart who had quite the sense of humor, and fairly strong opinions about the world and what goes on around it-- he would be sure you were listening. Trevis was a cancer survivor but was taken away from us way too soon due to a heart attack. Although we mourn the loss here on Earth, we know Trevis stood on the Solid Rock of faith which anchored his soul through every battle. He had fair share of challenges, but knew God never left his side. Trevis was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Judy Kraus, and two infant brothers. Trevis was survived by his older brother, Troy Kraus (Angel) of Broken Arrow, OK, sister, Tawnya Jackson (Jeff) of Cozad and sister, Traci Wall (Jeff) of Johnson Lake; nieces Brittany Minor (James) of Whidbey Island, WA, Brooke Kraus of Owasso, OK, Brielle Kraus of Glenpool, OK, Ronelle Jackson of Columbus,  Karissa Jackson of Cozad, Ahnika and Addison Svajgr of Johnson Lake; nephew, Alex Svajgr of Johnson Lake; great nephew, Alexander and great niece Caleigh Minor of Whidbey Island, WA; and great nephew, Brixton Troy Hamm of Glenpool, OK.
